Sokuzan is the founding teacher and abbot of SokukoJi Buddhist Monastery. 

"My desire is to encourage those ready to stop the war within, to find out who they are, so they can see what is true for themselves and live a sane and uplifted life.  This can happen if one takes some time each day to sit down, hold still and observe what continues to move in the mind stream."

Unyo was fully ordained as a Monk in 2014.

"I devote my time and energy in service to our resident monks and practitioners as we build an oasis of kindness for our Northside neighborhood that can stretch out into the world."
